Parnassah tovah and all yeshuos
Davening at Choni Hameagel — for Parnassah and All Yeshuos
A segulah for parnassah tovah and for all yeshuos — davening at the tziyun of Choni Hameagel in the Upper Galil. In the zechus of his tefillah the Eibershter brought down gishmei brachah after years of terrible drought, and his tziyun is known as a makom mesugal to bring about yeshuos in every inyan.
The maaseh behind it
The Gemara tells that in a year of terrible drought, when the people desperately needed rain, Choni Hameagel stood inside a circle and swore he would not move until the rain fell. When the first drops began he said: "Not for this did I ask, but for gishmei boros shichin ume'aros." When it then came down so hard that there was danger, he asked for "gishmei ratzon brachah unedavah" — until it fell measured and full of brachah.
What the shliach does there
The shliach says the gantze sefer Tehillim far aych with techinos and bakashos at his tziyun, and gives tzedakah before he begins.
