Every Friday after Chatzos, there is a special segulah at the tziyun of Reb Leibele Baal Hayissurim: reciting the entire Sefer Tehillim without speaking in between, for yeshuos beyond the natural order.
The maaseh behind it
Reb Leib Baal Hayissurim, who lies in the beis hachaim in Tzfas, carries that name for the yissurim he lived through. Sefer Ohr HaGalil writes of him "ish gadol baTorah v'yerei Elokim meirabim". Before he was niftar he left a tzavaah that whoever is in an eis tzarah should come to his kever and say the gantze sefer Tehillim there, and especially on Friday — and so yidden do until today. The segulah carries the haskamah of gedolei hador: Reb Shmuel Wosner zt"l, to whom Reb Leibele revealed himself in a chalom; Reb Elimelech Biderman shlit"a, who speaks of his special connection to him; and Reb Dovid Abuchatzeira shlit"a, who encourages yidden to use this segulah in an eis tzarah.
