This is a segulah bedukah for open nissim and a yeshuah lema'alah miderech hateva, and to sweeten all the dinim — at the tziyun hakadosh of Reb Leibele Baal Hayissurim zya"a in the beis hachaim in Tzfas, erev Shabbos after chatzos hayom. It is bedukah beyoser for anyone suffering from ikuv, tzaar and agmas nefesh — whether yissurei haguf or yissurei hanefesh — and especially for those held up in a zivug, refuah, parnassah, zera shel kayama, shalom bayis and nachas fun di kinder.
The maaseh behind it
Reb Leib Baal Hayissurim, who lies in the beis hachaim in Tzfas, carries that name for the yissurim he lived through. Sefer Ohr HaGalil writes of him "ish gadol baTorah v'yerei Elokim meirabim". Before he was niftar he left a tzavaah that whoever is in an eis tzarah should come to his kever and say the gantze sefer Tehillim there, and especially on Friday — and so yidden do until today. The segulah carries the haskamah of gedolei hador: Reb Shmuel Wosner zt"l, to whom Reb Leibele revealed himself in a chalom; Reb Elimelech Biderman shlit"a, who speaks of his special connection to him; and Reb Dovid Abuchatzeira shlit"a, who encourages yidden to use this segulah in an eis tzarah.
What the shliach does there
On Friday after chatzos hayom, a shliach yerei shomayim toivels in the mikveh of the Arizal, lights zibben licht, says the gantze sefer Tehillim unhurried at the tziyun of the tzaddik, is oiver a pidyon nefesh, and reads out your own private bakashah slowly, word by word.
