The maaseh behind it
The name Chavakuk comes from the shoresh chibbuk — an embrace — and al pi the Zohar he was the son of the Ishah HaShunamis, whom Elisha Hanavi brought back to life with an embrace. His tefillah in the third perek of his sefer is known for its special segulah for yishuv hada'as and for taking away fears, and it is a segulah for zera shel kayama as well, as the mekubalim and Reb Mordechai Sharabi testified in the name of Reb Nachman of Breslov. In that tefillah Chavakuk describes how he stood inside a circle and would not move until the Eibershter answered him, and gives voice to complete bitachon that even in a time of crisis and tzarah a yid can still rejoice and be gleeful in Hashem.
